VIT/Vellore institute of technology is a
private university which is headquartered in Vellore District of TamilNadu. It
also has one sub campus in Chennai as well. Over many year the institute is
accredited the position of best institute in India. Better campus and good infrastructure
makes this institute as students preferred institute for many years.
+2/intermediate with 50% mark is the minimum eligibility to join the course.
Such candidates appear for the university conducted exam namely VITEEE, based
on the score of that exam institute calls admission to the right candidates.
There should be a certain mark consideration for the candidates who are
belonging to the sc/st category. You can download the application form from
VIT’S website. VITEEE conducts its eligibility test exam in all the major
centers in India as well as abroad. For M tech and Msc bio tech
there will be no entrance exams for admission. Candidates will be called on the
basis of counseling. It is needed an aggregate of 60% marks in higher education.
Also the aggregate of mark which is scored in physics, chemistry and
mathematics in higher secondary level is also considered for admission.
